In honor of National Kitchen & Bath Month, we are highlighting some kitchen/bath before & after photos from client projects we’ve completed.

First up… Niki’s Kitchen!

Niki has been an amazing client! This girl knows what she wants & wants to rock out until it’s done. We seriously kick disorganization to the curb when we work together! Niki has started with a good base of organization, but wanted to fine tune certain areas so they would be more functional (& pretty). The before & after photos below highlight the inside of a few kitchen cabinets & drawers. Niki discusses her life – home, fitness, health & family – on her blog: Hello Stripes. She featured an article about the time we organized an office space in part of her kitchen – called “Kitchen Organization {Part 1}“. Check it out!

Now that you’ve drooled over Niki’s organized kitchen, here are a couple of organizing tips you can use in your own space:

  • Use drawer dividers to keep utensils categorized and separate.
  • Use baskets or bins inside cabinets to separate categories & to create easier access to items in the back of the cabinet.
  • Keep counters free of clutter. Horizontal surfaces tend to collect clutter, so be vigilant about returning objects to their designated homes.
  • Group items by function – create a “baking” department or a “small appliance” department.
  • Store items closest to the point of use – spices near the stove, kid dishes in lower cabinets/drawers for kids to reach, glasses near the dishwasher.

Those are just a few tips to get you started on your project! Now, dig into those cabinets and drawers & GET ORGANIZED!

Happy National Kitchen & Bath Month!
