Is your purse a “catch-all” for everything and anything?  Do you get frustrated every time you have to find something in your purse?  Is it weighing you down? Figuratively and literally?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, here’s what you can do:

  • Empty the contents of your purse.
  • Throw away any trash.
  • Get rid of any duplicates.  (How many pens and notepads do you really need?)
  • Use the pockets in your purse for specific items, such as: phone, keys, sunglasses, etc.
  • Choose to receive your receipts through email to minimize the paper clutter in your purse.
  • Keep one small zippered pouch for any essential personal items (e.g., lipstick, mirror, Tylenol, etc.)

Organizing your purse is a quick and easy way to ease your stress, save you time, and your back, and may even lead to the desire to organize something bigger (like a closet or pantry).
