kids artwork

Now that school is headed back into session, you will become inundated with your budding artists creations. As much as it may pain you, you probably don’t have room to keep everything. Don’t worry, there are several things you can do to keep the artwork from taking over your home!

How to Organize Artwork:

  1. Get a box or bin (not too big) and put your child’s artwork inside.  Once it is full, (maybe monthly) go through it with your child and pick out the best ones.  Discard the rest.
  2. Take a picture of your favorite ones and make a photo book of all the art.
  3. 3. Your child can write a message on the back and the artwork can be used as a  greeting card and/or wrapping paper.

I can speak from experience by saying that my kids like to look back at some of the things they made when they were young, but they don’t need to or want to look at hundreds of items, a few from each year or grade is more than enough.
